About Anne

My name is Anne. I’m married to Michael. We’re a team.

We’ve been married eleven years, and I can honestly say that marriage is a blast.

I knew at a very early age that I wanted to get married. My family has a long history of healthy, happy marriages, and I wanted what had been demonstrated so beautifully to me.

Michael and I met and became friends. He was one of my favorite guys, but we didn’t start dating until much later. I distinctly remember the night I knew he was “The One” for me. My parents drove me to his college town a few hours away and we all attended a basketball game together. After dinner, we took him back to his apartment, and began the long drive home. I laid down in the backseat and had the very overwhelming thought, “I’m never going to date anyone else. This is it.”

I remember not being afraid at all. I remember feeling a peace I’d never known in dating relationships.

The center of who we are and what are doing as a family is the person of Jesus Christ. We are believers, and children of God. We claim Him as our Lord and our Savior. I know as well as I know my own name that God brought us together, and many, many days it was obvious that God is keeping us together.

So we work hard at glorifying God in our marriage. We make a lot of effort, and the payback is always exponentially more than we put into it. We have done a lot of pre-marital counseling with couples, and that brings us so much joy. We love speaking on marriage, because we enjoy being married so much!

This blog is my thoughts on marriage. I’m learning every day what it means to be a godly wife. I experience a much closer walk with God as I work on my marriage. We are not experts, but we work hard and God has blessed. Thanks for joining us on the journey.
